Small rotary dampers can be connected by screwing or snapping into a component to provide dampened movements. They are primarily used in kinematic components in the interior of vehicles (e.g. folding compartments, cupholders etc.) as well as in numerous applications outside the automotive industry (e.g. refrigerator compartments, printer flaps etc.).
